Worthing Allotments & Gardens Association (WAGA)

WAGA

  • Facebook

WAGA is an entirely separate organization from WAM and HACA. Anyone can join WAGA, there is no obligation to join when you take on your new plot but the benefits are very worthwhile. WAGA membership is not included in your yearly allotment fees for WAM.

Please not that from 1st April 2024 - Membership to WAGA for Humber Avenue Allotment holders is now included in your (HACA) yearly allotment fee .

The Worthing Allotments and Gardens Association was founded in 1948 as a voluntary association with members from all local allotment sites. WAGA members have access to the Allotments Shops for your gardening needs, with great savings on seeds, seed potatoes, fleece, etc. Allotment Shops can be found at West Tarring, Chesswood Farm and Humber Avenue. As a member, you will receive 'the Plotholder', a free seasonal newsletter at regular intervals throughout the year, free entry to the Annual WAGA Show and  Member events such as BBQ's and visits to Wisley and other similar horticultural places of interest.

  • You can join at any time for only £5 then renew each year for only £3
(WAGA renewal year runs from April).

  • You can download a WAGA Membership Form and take it to any of the Allotment Shops on-site or post it with the required fee to the address on the form.
